Municipal Tax agency

The plenary of the Chair. Municipality of Murcia in meeting of 27 may 2004 adoptedRegulations of the Government and administration of the municipality of Murciaarticle 25, in accordance with rule 135 of the act regulating the Bases del régimen Local establishes the existence of a body of tax management,MUNICIPAL TAX AGENCY, responsible for exercising the powers that the Local Tax Administration attaches to the tax legislation.

For the achievement of a comprehensive management of municipal tax system, governed by the principles of efficiency, adequacy, agility and unity in the management, up to this body, at least, the following powers:

  • The management, settlement, inspection, collecting and reviewing municipal tax acts.
  • The executive-collection of other income of public law.
  • The processing and resolution of the administrative prosecution files relating to tax tax manager whose expertise has committed.
  • The analysis and design of the global policy of public revenues in the municipal tax system.
  • The proposal, processing and interpretation of tax administration of the town hall
  • Monitoring and management of the implementation of the budget of income in respect of tax revenue.
